Metro Ball Hockey Association
The Metro Ball Hockey Association needed a way to broadcast live league data to fans in a format that matched the energy of their sport. The existing experience was a static PDF schedule updated manually.
// The Challenge
Legacy data lived in spreadsheets. Fan engagement was low. The organization wanted something that felt like a broadcast experience: a live HUD that would drive return visits, social sharing, and a sense of organizational prestige.
// Our Approach
We engineered a real-time sports HUD using Next.js 16 with server-side data hydration and Vercel Edge for near-zero latency globally. The interface draws from sports broadcast design language, with high-contrast overlays, live score animations, and a mobile-first layout optimized for stadium WiFi conditions.
