Mental Rogue Studios exists because of a Squarespace website.
When I started my first company I did what most people do. I went to Squarespace, then Wix, convinced I could figure it out myself. And I could, mostly. But what those platforms do not tell you is what comes next: the limitations you cannot design around, the lock-in you cannot escape, and the hours lost every time you need to make a change that should take five minutes.
I spent days frustrated by things that should have been simple. I felt the embarrassment of a site that looked like a template because it was one.
That experience is why this studio exists. Every client I work with has a version of that same story. The goal is to make sure they never have to live it again.
